I have lived a great life. I am 24 years old, living in a nice house with my best friend. I own my own car. Up until these past few months I never had any credit card debut. I have a strong support group between my family and friends. I have traveled to more countries than states, including <st1:city st="on">London</st1:city>, <st1:country-region st="on">Italy</st1:country-region>, <st1:country-region st="on">Egypt</st1:country-region>, <st1:country-region st="on">Germany</st1:country-region>, and the <st1:country-region st="on"><st1:place st="on">Dominican Republic</st1:place></st1:country-region>. I have not one, but two part-time jobs that I actually get paid for and I started my own magazine. I am so thankful for all the opportunities I have had and have no regrets. Given this wonderful life I have lived what more could I want?</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal">Well, lately I want to get out of this area. I want to try living the city life. I want to be around more people, people from all kinds of different backgrounds. I want to ditch the car, even though it is very convenient to have and carries all of my crap, and hop on mass transit or walk. I want to meet strangers on the street and attend upscale bars and clubs. I just want to try and get out there. There are so many people in this world and the fact that we only come in contact with a small portion of them and only hang out with an even smaller portion kills me. </p> <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal">Of course I hate to give up what I have here, friends, family, work, house, and everything that is comfortable. But it some point I feel that I will have to just so I don’t regret not trying it. All my life I have been in addicted to school and work. As I have gotten older I have managed to set aside time to go on vacation, that way I can see the world. I am a dreamer with realistic goals, and a heart that is starving to do and see more. This world has so much to offer and yet there are very few who are jumping to take part in them. </p> <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal">While I sit here and ponder the life I live and imagine what I can do after graduation I urge you to think about your life and what you are doing with it. Don’t just sit around and get stuck in the everyday things. Look past that and see what you really can and will do. You’re not alone.
